something still out of balance. not sure what it is. but life is all about surprises isn't it?

and it was a nice evening, i was a dick with a mild alcohol obsession offending people and boring myself, but the food was good and i managed not to tell the girl sitting opposite me that she looked like Michael Jackson (which was harder than it sounded because the thought was screaming through my frontal lobes for about two hours).

i was in less trouble than i deserved to be from lovely people i failed to stay in contact with, and almost remembered how not to be a hermit and hold polite conversations. i got lots of hugs (possibly because we were sitting outside on a cold-ish night) and only headbutted one person insted of kissing them. this is definitely up on my usual average. very looking forward to leaving town for a bit (a week and a half. yay!)
